From Student Work to Superb Work

Welcome to A Purrfect Crime release 0.6!

We've finished up with our time with the game as a student project for school. Here's our last major release we accomplished!

Here's what's new:

Gameplay:

We've finally come close to purrfecting Granny's AI. She should now react and wander a lot more predictably and reactively than in prior releases. 

Her hunting state is no longer be all - end all. She'll get confused after a bit and go back to what she was doing. 

Cat's now appear in random locations when you enter the house.

Fully fleshed out Main Menu before getting to gameplay.

More things are clickable! Seriously! We tried to make as many things as we could feel like you can interact with them. (and we're not done yet!)

Granny became a """"responsible"""" gun owner and actually put it under lock and key while she's not holding it. No longer is it just sitting around!

Graphics:

Cats come alive! (Sorta) Cats now have more than one skin and pose. Some even animate!

Lighting got updated, should look a lot smoother now.

More furniture to fill the space- Granny's house should feel less empty now!

Fun new particle effects! From improving the Cat Petting look to certain objects erupting when thrown, particles have save us.

Granny's got some interesting shows on television, take a look and a listen to them! Animations done by guest animator John Nolan, voiced by Brian Rosner, Arrison , John Nolan, and Lily Hoekstra.

Sound:

Audio system overhaul- everything should sound more 3D and make noise from where it's coming from.

Granny's VO is properly implemented. She's a bit of a chatterbox...

New SFX for Cats! Proper real life cat meowing! Wow!

More objects have SFX attached to them.

Overall?

We spent a lot of time bug fixing and polishing over the past few months. It's not perfect, but it feels like a game, well and truely.
